TRAINING

Everyday the dogs undergo an intense training regiment.  The dogs work on their commands in my training yard and on walks around the neighborhood.  They work on their training multiple times daily with me and my assistant trainers, Dorothy and Keeley.  We work the dogs very hard here, because a key in the success of my training is constant reinforcement of the commands.  So when a dog isn't sleeping or playing it is being trained.

SWIMMING

I have a gunite inground pool on my property.  The pool is open eight months out of the year (it is heated in the off months).  My pool has a beach entrance, which is only 6 inches deep and gradually slopes to 7 feet.  This gives the dogs the confidence to walk into the pool.  I am highly succesful in getting dogs to swim and it is great exercise for them.  It is a low chlorine pool and is monitored for proper chemical balance with dogs in mind.

PLAY

A section of my yard is fenced off and dedicated solely for play.  Here the dogs have the opportunity to interact with each other and get great exercise.  I am very succesful in getting dogs to become good players.  It provides a great opportunity for dogs to become more socialized.  The dogs spend a good amount of time in the play yard each day.  Here dogs learn how to interact with each other, no matter how big or how small.
