Real World at Home Dog Training!
Dogs for adoption
Through my Rehabilitation program with P.A.R.L I always have dogs ready for adoption every Friday. Contact me to find out who is the dog of the week that will be graduating my program.

Pepsi is a 26 month old Pit Bull who is extremely people lovable..he loves children and adults alike and is doing incredible with his obedience training...he loves to play and fetch things..he loves to play with some dogs but with others he is very aggressive...this being the case I am HIGHLY suggesting he go to a home with NO other dogs and also a fenced in yard for some off leash play. He is very energetic but also has no problem settling down in his kennel and resting.

Pepsi and Max play, Max is the dog below who has been adopted

Keep in mind that like all of my dogs that I adopt out I guarantee every one of them and if for any reason you decide that the dog is not working out I will take the dog back with no questions asked.

Max is still available for adoption
The next dog I have for adoption is Max a 9/10 month old beagle. I picked him up from PARL on 3/21/08 and he will be ready for adoption on 4/4/08.

Max is a wonderful puppy who has a lot of energy and will do best with a household that has another dog since he is very social and plays extremely well with other dogs both big and small. He comes to me very "green"(untrained). After my 2 week SK9T Boot Camp. He will have worked intensely on Heel, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay,  Wait, Place and Come. I offer this at no charge to PARL which has a value of $1500.00. I want as many dogs to get adopted as possible.
As you can see from the pictures below, Max is extremely playful and social.

Bella was adopted on 3/17/08 thank you for all that where interested.

Bella (another one, not yet adopted out) is part of my PARL Rehab program. She belongs to PARL but is being fostered and trained by me.

someone is having fun on her first day with me :
Bella is a 2 year old female Shepherd Mix, she is with me for a 2 week bootcamp on a foster program from the Providence Animal Rescue League www.PARL.org. I will be working with her for next 2 weeks and she will be ready to be adopted on the 28th of March. She will be proficient in following commands. Heel (she will walk on your left side and come to a complete sit/stay when you stop, she will not bark at other dogs or be distracted by other people or dogs) she will do a sit/say, down/stay and go to her Place on command. I will proof her against as many bad habits as I can, ie: jumping up on people and counters, all agression issues etc..you can contact me if you are interested in adopting her or if you have questions about her training.

Bella was adopted out 5 days after I put this up..thank you to my great clients for all of your help

This is Alisha from Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital. I'm writing you the information about Bella the german shepard stray dog. She is 9 years old and all the following she had done while being here in the kennel: spayed, had a office vist, max 5/4L, fecal, heartworm tested, bathand flea treatment, wormed, mircochipped, and 1st dose of rabies. The adoption fee here is $115. She is a good, loving dog that needs a nice loving family. She loves to take walks and play ball and would be a great addition to anyone's home. She came to us on December 24,2007 and we our love her here, but we would like to see her in a loving caring home than in a cage for the rest of her life. Please come and check her out and all her other loving friends at Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital.
                 Thank You,
The staff at Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital
