Two Hour Problem Solving One on One With Jeff

These sessions are FOR stopping unwanted behaviors: from resource guarding to leash reactivity, and anything in-between. Jeff will come to you and help you troubleshoot your dog’s worst behaviors in the setting where they are generally the worst (your home.)

You will spend two hours with Jeff learning how to proactively train your dog as well as stop dangerous behaviors when they arise. This will be a very empowering session for you that will get you on the fast track to massive success.

This session can also be paired with our online courses as supplemental training to continue your progress long after Jeff has left. Our Green to Graduate course can be purchased for half price in combination with the session. This will give you a huge head start on your training before Jeff even arrives at your house, and this course focuses primarily on obedience training rather than behavior modification. With both of these options, you will have  a full circle program that will bring out the very best version of your dog.

4 Week Off Leash Training Program

This program is designed for dogs that are NOT human/dog aggressive or that have high levels of fear and anxiety— as that takes longer to work with and to instill new behaviors.

All of our programs are as much about behavior modification as they are about obedience. There are many dogs that we work with that already have great obedience, yet they still struggle with remaining calm and following commands around high levels of distraction. That’s because training is deeper than surface level. Our obedience program covers both on and off-leash obedience, and we address some minor state of mind issues such as arousal, excitement, and “selective listening.”

Our main objective is creating a calmer dog that listens is all environments and is not reactive to all of the stimuli around your home and in the world. We look at dog training as a lifestyle and not a series of tricks. Our training and rehab program will feel as if it’s a part of your lifestyle, rather than a choreographed chore to do each day.

Our 4 week program will cover the following:

  • Walking properly on a leash without pulling, barking, lunging, sniffing, or reacting to dogs and/or distractions

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Place command

  • Correcting bad behaviors – jumping up on people, jumping on countertops, mouthing, nipping, chasing, playing keep-away

  • Recall training (with and without distractions)

  • Minor Separation Anxiety (some separation issues need a longer program)

  • Crate Nonsense (barking, whining, etc.)

  • Building confidence with your dog so you get a better off well-mannered dog.

  • Calm on Command training – having your dog be calm in all situations, without him/her having to be worn out with hours of walking/play time

  • Leadership skills with your dog so your dog understands proper pack order with humans, eliminating a lot of pushy behavior dogs have. This is also great for nervous fearful dogs.

  • Work with your dog on the anxiety and fear that is driving most unwanted behaviors

All Board and Train programs include six hours of private one-on-one training. The six hours include one, two-hour mid training session. One, two-hour training session at the completion of the program. You also receive one, two-hour follow-up session to be scheduled at the owner’s and trainer’s discretion. All training sessions take place at our training center in Bradenton, FL.

Board and Train dogs will be picked up & dropped off by the client (owner).

6 Week Board & Train – Obedience and Behavior Modification 

We are well known for working with extremely challenging dogs. In fact, no dog has ever been turned away from our program due to a dangerous/unwanted behavior. We work with dogs who have intense levels of separation anxiety, resource guarding, and a host of other issues. Working with challenging dogs is not like working on a simple obedience command. It is more intense work, requires more handlers, and it often and takes an extended period of time to instill new habits and behaviors in your dog.

How far can your dog go in a longer program? We will take your dog as far as we can depending on its individual abilities. At a minimum, our goal is for dogs to be able to exist around humans and other dogs in real-world situations. As far as how much direct interaction they can have, we will not know until we start working the dog. We will always give you an honest assessment during and after training of what your dog’s immediate limitations will be.

The great thing is when you follow through with our training program (you get 6 hours of 1/1 training with us) each day/week/month just keeps getting better.

Dogs in the Behavioral Modification Board and Train will learn the following:

  • Leadership skills with your dog so your dog understands proper pack order with humans, eliminating a lot of pushy behavior dogs have. This is also great for nervous fearful dogs.

  • Work with your dog on the anxiety and fear that is driving most unwanted behaviors

  • Stopping reactivity toward humans and other dogs

  • Existence in the real world like stores, parks, cafes etc.

  • Socialization with other dogs

  • Addressing any and all bad behaviors that might show up *not* including human aggression

AGGRESSIVE DOGS

This program is designed for dogs that are exhibiting intense dog aggression, fear aggression, human aggression, and biting with intent to harm humans or animals. 

We do get dogs in that are truly aggressive, and when that happens we have to spend more time with the dog—sometimes having 2 or even 3 trainers working with the dog for safety purposes. Rehabbing true aggression is extremely time-consuming, stressful and physically demanding. That is our job though, and we take it seriously.

Because of the demands that aggression puts on our trainers, we do have a special price for this program. We take pride in our abilities to rehab extremely challenging dogs who otherwise would not have another chance. Our skill sets allow us to stay safe while making progress at your dog’s pace. Our aggression board and train is still a six week program, and your dog will go out on public outings, experience the world, and achieve solid obedience training. Our aggression rehab program is for dogs who are truly dangerous to their families or to society. We can make some incredible progress with these dogs, it often just requires a village to achieve the results we hold our standards to.
