You have, literally, changed my life for the better. Not only in the dog owning/training world, but my personal life as well.

My name is Michael. I am 23 years old and have been watching your content for almost 3 years now. And let me say that you have, literally, changed my life for the better. Not only in the dog owning/training world, but my personal life as well. Watching you and your company grow over the years and seeing you work with a multitude of dogs, all the while helping people overcome some of their biggest roadblocks, has done so much for me.

To give you some background, my dog, Champ came in to my life completely out of control. Keep in mind, I have only thought that I was ready to be a dog owner even though I did very little research at the time. Champ, who was 2 at the time, was a mess. I constantly dealt with him constantly barking at anything he saw move outside, he soiled all over the house, would find his way in to the trash when I left the house and would tear up garbage and destroy my house with it. On top of that he was extremely nervous about just about everything, submissive and excitement pee were ‘normal’ behaviors for him. Peeing as soon as I walked in the door from work and then running it all over the house. And he could not walk at all. Or rather, I didn’t have the skills to walk him. He also had really bad separation anxiety, which would lead him to rip down my curtains when I left the house and constantly bark at the window. I looked up a decent amount of content and none of it was really helping me. I’ve come to realize now that I was just failing to grasp key concepts that would have helped me curb some of the issues I was having. The issues got worse for me, financially, when I was taken to court because he got in to a skirmish with my neighbor’s dog. Not once, but twice. At this point I was at my wit’s end and was contemplating sending him back to where I adopted him… Until I found your video on Separation Anxiety. I started incorporating the techniques you talked about in that video and saw substantial changes in his behavior. I began to dive deeper and learned how to handle a prong collar to teach him how to walk properly, and even transitioned right in to E-collar work and, of course, a strong kenneling protocol. After one day I was able to walk my dog, peacefully, on leash. After a couple of weeks, there were no more issues related to separation anxiety. Months go by and I have a well behaved beagle with 90% of his behavior problems gone.

I am now pursuing a career as a professional dog trainer. With goals in mind to open my own board and train center and add my own value to other peoples’ lives. I currently foster dogs to rehabilitate and help them find homes as well as offering training to struggling people for free.

You saved my relationship with my dog by helping me understand I was just not incorporating the right techniques with the proper timing. I am so grateful for the work that you do and I wanted to write this email to you saying that my goal is to attend T3 in April 2016. It isn’t going to be easy, but I will bust my ass to make sure I can be there! I have already begun to turn my life around, as well as many people in it. And most of it was through your guidance. I am very excited to get to meet you next year and I will do whatever it takes to make sure I can make this trip happen! I can’t even put in writing how much you have helped me! And I am ready to share my value with the world.

Thank you so much, Jeff, for all the hard work you do on a daily basis. And thank you for reaching out and changing my life. I have big goals in mind for myself and I will see them through because I now know that I have value to share!
