Jeff started training dogs 20 years ago with the goal of giving people with badly behaved dogs a better life, and it’s been his mission ever since. He is a world-renowned trusted expert for resolving the most severe behavioral issues in dogs. More than just correcting the problems, Jeff’s approach is about preventing them from happening in the first place by focusing on the foundations of training and implementing structure and boundaries with every dog he works with. His methods ensure that with consistency, leadership, and guidance, even the most challenging dogs can be transformed–dogs who are often on their last chance. Jeff’s commitment extends beyond dog training alone; he’s dedicated to empowering dog owners through dozens of free resources, aiming to significantly reduce unnecessary re-homing and sheltering of dogs. Joelle – CMO and Co-Founder of Solid K9 Academy
Joelle, a distinguished trainer at Solid K9, embodies a lifelong passion for dogs. She has been training and rehabbing dogs at Solid K9 since 2018. She is also the co-founder of Solid K9 Academy: the virtual side of SK9 in which online courses are making dog training simple, effective, and available to everyone, no matter where they are located geographically. She is also the head of social media, and finds true fulfillment in creating free and helpful dog training content to help as many people as possible. Her expertise extends beyond the training field; she’s also a certified personal trainer, driven by a zeal for fitness and well-being. Whether navigating the great outdoors with her dogs or empowering individuals in the gym, her commitment to nurturing growth in both canines and humans alike shines through. Courtney, Head Trainer at Solid K9
Courtney has been an asset to the team since 2020. From a young age, she invested every bit of her allowance into understanding the nuances of different breeds through extensive reading. This early passion laid the foundation for a decade-long journey into the realms of behavior modification and K9 Nosework, where she meticulously sharpened her skills. Her expertise led her to become a proficient Bed Bug Detection K9 handler in the bustling Bay Area, California, a role that further deepened her understanding and capabilities. Now, returning to the East Coast, Courtney is eager to impart her wealth of knowledge and experience to help you and your dogs. With her comprehensive background and dedicated approach, she is set to make a significant impact at Solid K9, enhancing the lives of dogs and their owners with her insight and passion. She works with all of our board and train dogs, and specializes in advanced obedience, behavior mod, aggression rehab, and trick training. She is also an expert at human communications, which is an essential part of everything we do at Solid K9 Training.
