Hi, we’re Jeff Gellman and Joelle Gifford, owners of Solid K9 Training and Solid K9 Academy. Combined, we’ve been training and rehabbing dogs for 20 years. Locally and around the world via seminars, board and train, and now, virtual courses. 

At Solid K9, we’re known for being “those crazy trainers” who work with dogs who are on their last chance. We turn NO dogs away for being “too badly behaved and have 10,000+ dogs trained under our belts–and that number is still growing. 

We both came from a place similar to you…we have both owned “that dog” who was slowly turning our worlds upside down, and it was hard to find the help we so desperately needed.

Once we figured out how to flip our relationship with our problematic dogs, we promised we would spread this knowledge to ANY dog owner who wanted to learn this stuff, too. We’ve made it our life’s work to help as many people and dogs as possible live their BEST lives through simple, proper training. my dog goes NUTS whenever someone enters my house, I’m afraid they will end up biting someone. Is this the right program for me?

this behavior can definitely be dangerous and escalate if not addressed, but we will be covering what to do in this exact scenario, as well as how to put a stop to it altogether!

We wouldn’t call something proven just because it worked for us. What training tools do I need?

This course will be covering mostly on leash work, with a little bit of remote collar. But if you don’t have an e collar, no worries. You will be just as successful with a 6′ leash and a prong collar. Also, don’t forget your food pouch with your dogs training meals!

Is one week really enough time?

You’ve likely been told dog training can take months to years. But that’s simply not true. You can fully on-leash train your dog AND proof all their obedience in a week, with just 60 minutes of a training per day. We’re going to show you how in real time! No smoke in mirrors here.
