Our Board & Train Programs are an intense lifestyle training program, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at our training center in Bradenton, FL. The programs are designed to give your dog a strong head start by removing bad habits, assuaging anxiety and fear issues, and putting a strong routine into place for both dog and owner.
Here at Solid K9, we work with dogs of ANY breed with ANY issue. From young puppies to severe aggression- there is no dog we will ever turn away. We understand that every dog is different, and training needs can vary depending on the dog, and your training goals as an owner. Our programs can range anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks depending on what needs to be accomplished. We highly recommend you start by booking an initial consultation with us, so that we can get to know you and your dog better. We might discover you don’t need a board and train at all, and one of our virtual courses would actually be best suited for you. Ultimately, our goal is making sure you and your dog get the training you need to live the most optimal life together.
The Solid K9 Training facility is highly secure, staffed 24 hours a day, and monitored by video surveillance, fire detection, smoke, heat and carbon detection.

4 Week Off Leash Board & Train
This program is designed for dogs that are NOT human or dog aggressive or that have high levels of fear and anxiety as that takes longer to work with. Chat us with questions anytime.
Our 4 week comprehensive in-home board and train addresses the following:
- Walking properly on a leash without pulling, barking, lunging, sniffing, or reacting to dogs and/or distractions
- Sit, Down, Recall, Place, Heel, Out, and crate manners (all basic obedience commands)
- Correcting bad behaviors – jumping up on people, jumping on countertops, mouthing, nipping, chasing, playing keep-away
- Separation Anxiety (some separation issues need a longer program)
- Crate Nonsense (barking, whining, etc.)
- Building confidence with your dog
- Calm on Command training – having your dog be calm in all situations, without him/her having to be worn out with hours of walking/play time
- Public access training and off leash excursions to cafes, the beach, nature preserves and stores
- Work with your dog on the anxiety and fear that is driving most unwanted behaviors
All Board and Train programs include six ours of training YOU, the human. The six hours include one, two-hour mid training session. One, two-hour training session at the completion of the program. You also receive one, two-hour follow-up session to be scheduled at the owner’s and trainer’s discretion within 2 months of your dog going back home. All training sessions take place at our training center in Bradenton, FL. For clients who have completed our Board & Train program and are interested in further training opportunities, one-hour training sessions are available at $75 per hour.

5-6 Week Behavior mod/Aggression Rehab
This program is designed for dogs that are exhibiting intense dog aggression, fear aggression, human aggression, Separation anxiety, extreme fear, or biting of any kind. Your dog will get the same level of training as our four week program, but we will also address the more severe behavioral issues.
We do work with dogs who fall on the more extreme end of the spectrum when it comes to behavior modification. We specialize in working with these dogs, so you are in the right place! We have twenty years of experience working with dogs who have been labeled “dangerous”, “untrainable”, even “hopeless” and we’ve been able to give them a second chance at life. We take pride in working with these dogs, knowing we are often their last chance–and we are able to help them write a new story.
But extreme behavior often needs more time to be fully rehabbed. Our five – six week board and train program includes everything that the 4 week includes, as well as intense rehab which teaches dogs how to recondition well practiced bad behavior into something positive.
You’ll have access to one year of follow up support in our community membership where you can attend live coaching calls and ask questions if you feel you need further support

The above Board & Train prices do NOT include the cost of an e-collar. If you need to purchase an e-collar, we are happy to provide an Educator E-collar on the first day of Board & Train. The e-collar cost ranges from $199 to $329, depending on the model your dog needs.
