4th of July Training
Today being the 4th of July was a full day…out the door at 6:30am and finishing up……well..i am still working…long exhausting day today…started out with a nice 4 mile walk with my morning crew.
Max, Uma, Bella, Baron, Jeff, Squid and Levi..yep…6 dogs and ice coffee….today we did 4 miles and in the A.M and another 3 miles in the P.M.
A great thing about the kennel is even during the down time the dogs are working…below you can see Baron in the PLACE command while i return phone calls and get work done.
Squid and Levi who are the muscle of my group love driving around with me…they are such great dogs…
can you see the love…squid and levi have also moved into max, uma and bella’s kennel…they all sleep together every night..
A big shout out to Suzanne who is the girlfriend of one of my clients who I believe secretly has a crush on me.
So…..we had a little cookout today and Romy had her first ice cream cone today….
keeping with the 4th of July i did some sparkler distraction training…i put sparklers around Uma and had her in a downstay…
in our neighborhood we have so many people lighting fireworks going off tonight..so i put up the A/C and the radio and hoped for the best tonight…the dogs are doing pretty well considering the noise
I was able to get a bunch of landscaping done today…as well as powerwashing one side of the house….
