Up to Boston to pick up a biter
today was a long day..my first client was at 7:30am and I worked dogs both in my kennel and also on the road until about 7pm when I put the kids to bed…I was up in Boston at the end of the day picking up a cockapoo…he is a biter and yep..he bit me..no big deal..at least I found one of his triggers…he does not like to be brought into the kennel when he does not want to…oh well…today we actually started training, Keeley took him on a training walk as soon as I came back from Boston. He had some dinner, a little water and then went out into the training yard with 3 other dogs…he did OK, its quite a shock to have 3 dogs up in your privates within the first 5 minutes your feet hit the ground…he did great though and tomorrow it will be a great day of exercise, training and play….
Here he is in his kennel, a small dog like this gets a 15 square foot kennel which is more than enough room to sleep in..kennel dogs spend most of the time outside working and training along with a lot of play, unlike standard boarding kennels we are a working and training kennel, rain, snow or sun we work these dogs every day.
One of my clients has the cutest grandson, we have a great time training…I have a great job..i get to play with babies and help families live harmoniously with their dogs
My morning training walks are getting more and more intense as I add more dogs to the mix.
molly, bella, roka, rocky, max and uma…..we walk 4 miles in the am before most people get out of bed….
