Meals on Wheels
I had a nice meeting today with the folks on Meals on Wheels and we are in talks about creating some groundbreaking programs that are part of the NO KILL philosophy as far as Pet Retention. A partnership with Jeff’s Pack and Meals on Wheels will offer:
Dog and Cat Food
Cat Litter
Dog and Cat Treats
Flea and Tick Meds
Dog and Cat Toys
All for Free and delivered as well.
We will also be offering Cats on both a Foster and permanent basis, all spayed/neutered and UTD on all vaccinations for no charge.
This will be a groundbreaking program that will greatly reduce the surrender of dogs and cats by the elderly because of financial hardship as well as getting kittens and cats out of the shelters and into homes and will greatly reduce the numbers of cats/kittens killed each year.
