This week I spoke to a few potential clients about different training methods and the use of Prong\/Pinch collars. As you all know I am a HUGE advocate of these types of training collars. I really wish the vets stop giving out training advice…most vets don’t know how to train dogs and I find it very harmful for a vet to give out training advice during the last 15 or so seconds of an office visit without finding out more about the person that owns the dog as well as the dogs behavior in all situations. The usual advice is that prong collars are not good for dogs since the dog pulls and they will hurt themselves on them….that just shows the stupidity that is out there…when a dog is properly heeling, then there is no pulling…a prong collar properly used does not pull on the dog at all…when you use my training methods your dog will walk in a loose leash fashion within days if not hours and therefore no pulling…<\/p>\n

Wally working on his PLACE command…after he is in command I call him to me and he comes running..so Wally is getting good at all f his basic commands and also his recall command in a structured way…ie:If he is playing in the play yard with other dogs and I call him to me..he does not come yet..that is the goal…<\/p>\n
