He has lots and lots of swelling around the area and will need some rehab work&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/5a70d5758fd4d205196bd605\/t\/5a7271995404e23621c69a33\/1517457888621\/leg2.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>Pete is being a great little patient&#8230;.I gently hold him while Clover and Romy press a cold compress on to his wound. They also gave him his meds for his pain&#8230;.they enjoy helping out so much&#8230;today they learned what an amputation is. Clover asked if when Pete was better they would glue his leg on&#8230;So I explained that his leg has cancer and it will not be going back on&#8230;so she helped with keeping pressure on his leg with the frozen corn. I am proud of both of them&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/5a70d5758fd4d205196bd605\/t\/5a7271995404e23621c69a35\/1517457885522\/leg1.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>Pete seems to be doing well after 48 hours of having his leg amputated&#8230;he has much swelling and bruising.
