Day 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p>If I had a dollar for every trained dog I saw at the Hartford Pet show I would not be able to buy my daily iced coffee with 2 shots of esspresso from Starbucks&#8230;why because the cost $4.00 and I only had 3 dogs with me&#8230;.but there must have been 500 other dogs at the show..and not one of them was under control&#8230;I am baffled by what I saw&#8230;.I mean good for me&#8230;lots of potential customers &#8230;.one woman was telling me about her dog and how she just got her CGC (canine good citizen) certificate, so I asked her how the training was going..she told me that she was still working on things&#8230;she explained that she still had a hard time walking her dog, it still pulls her down the street&#8230;.I was shocked&#8230;she explained that it was a golden retriever and still a puppy&#8230;I asked her how old the dog was..she told me 2.5 years old&#8230;I laughed&#8230;&#8230;to me a puppy is under 6 months old&#8230;maybe a year old&#8230;tops and your dog should be heeling on a leash before 6 months old if you get it at 8-12 weeks old&#8230;with my training system&#8230;we train puppies to heel properly in less than a week and then you have a lifetime of proper leash walking&#8230;the industry baffles me&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>we had so many comments on how are dogs where just laying there and not moving ..are they drugged, tired, beaten&#8230;give me a break..they are trained..its called the place command..and it does not matter that hundreds of dogs come walking\/pulling there owners by us.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/5a70d5758fd4d205196bd605\/t\/5a7271a85404e23621c69d36\/1517456810485\/IMG5515.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>8 hours a day of Place&#8230;yep&#8230;they can do it<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/5a70d5758fd4d205196bd605\/t\/5a7271a85404e23621c69d38\/1517456819022\/IMG5558.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>I lost my voice this weekend, spending over 8 hours a day with nonstop demos and talking<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/5a70d5758fd4d205196bd605\/t\/5a7271a85404e23621c69d3a\/1517456820240\/IMG5568.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>One of the people who came to me for help has this large dog who pulls her down the street..it was going after a lot of dogs at the show..she had zero control&nbsp; over her dog&#8230;and then&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/5a70d5758fd4d205196bd605\/t\/5a7271a85404e23621c69d3c\/1517456827350\/IMG5574.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>she still has to work on her technique, hand position and leash skills&#8230;but she is able to walk her dog&#8230;time spent with person..5 minutes&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Quick movie of some distraction training with Kishmish who is from California and is with me for a 6 week board and train&#8230;Kishmish came to us very reactive to all things around him&#8230;he would have gone after this girl on the scooter just a few weeks ago&#8230;things with wheels he tended to freak out with&#8230;so we are making progress every day with him&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
